Professional Teeth Whitening

If you drink coffee, tea, red wine, or use tobacco, you may notice your teeth get dingy looking over time. Did you know that yellow or brown teeth make you look older? If your teeth appear stained, you may not be looking or feeling your best.

Patients often tell us the one thing they wish they could change is the color of their teeth. Dr. Beth Kreider knows how important feeling confident can be. Fortunately, professional teeth whitening is safe, affordable, and easy to do. Wanting white teeth does not make you vain — it is just good sense if you spend a lot of time talking to people or working with the public. After all, you want people to focus on what you have to say and not how yellow your teeth look.

Professional Teeth Whitening

Professional teeth whitening is easier and more affordable than ever. Additionally, the latest advancements in whitening products provide outstanding results. In many cases, you can brighten your smile eight to ten shades, depending on how stained your teeth are.

When you come to our Denver dental office for a whitening consultation, we can help you to determine if professional whitening is right for you. Then we will take impressions of your teeth to create your custom whitening trays. Once we make your trays, Dr. Beth Kreider can recommend a whitening gel that will work best for you.

When you use professional teeth whitening systems made in our office, you are in control of your whitening. You whiten when it is convenient for you, on your own time.

Are your teeth white enough? You can stop whitening anytime if you like the shade of your teeth.

How Long Does Professional Teeth Whitening Last?

How long your professional teeth whitening lasts depends mostly on your lifestyle. If you consume many staining beverages and foods or use tobacco, your teeth will stain more quickly. If you avoid those behaviors, your teeth will stay white longer.

Once we make your whitening trays, they are yours to keep, so you can use them for touch ups, if they become necessary.

Is Professional Teeth Whitening Safe?

Professional teeth whitening is completely safe for most of our patients. The most common side effects are tooth sensitivity or gum irritation. You can avoid tooth sensitivity by leaving your trays in for a shorter period or by whitening less frequently. If sensitivity persists, let us know and we will recommend products that will help.

Using too much whitening gel typically causes gum irritation. Only a small amount of gel is necessary to get the job done. Make sure it does not seep onto your gums. If it does, wipe it away immediately.

Whitening Strips

Are you looking for a simpler or more affordable solution to whitening? We also offer professional teeth whitening strips that go over your teeth. Whitening strips are easy to use and provide excellent results for patients with light to moderate stains.

Are You Ready to Try Professional Teeth Whitening?

Whether you are ready to whiten your teeth or you have more questions, call Dr. Beth Kreider’s office and her helpful team will answer all of your questions and set up a whitening evaluation for you in our Denver dental office.
